The Lodge at Heartsong offers very affordable boarding, grooming, daycare and training for
your four legged best friends.
Loretta Emmons has been a trainer, professional handler, and Kennel Master for more than 25 years, bringing a wealth of expertise and gentle positive reinforcement training to our area. As an all breeds handler, Loretta had the opportunity to work with many breeds, gaining insight into their characteristics, training needs, and behaviors.
Loretta has been an AKC judge for nearly 10 years, utilizing her skills to improve the standards of those breeds. As a Jr Showmanship judge, she realizes the future of the sport is with the next generation.
Heartsong offers education classes for local schools and has been involved with Belvedere Elementary School's Science Day in North Augusta for the past 3 years. The Lodge will offer day and evening camps for young people from 8 - 17. Keep watching for updates!
Loretta is a CGC evaluator, STAR PUPPY trainer and therapy dog trainer. She will be supervising the training of all kennel staff and trainers.
Erik and Loretta have been serving the community with their high quality low cost spay neuter clinic for more than 5 years and have more than 20,000 (YES, TWENTY THOUSAND!)
spays at their clinics, with more than 13,000 in the CSRA alone..
They offer their understanding of animal behavior and stress when it comes to leaving your pet in new surroundings. Their cage free boarding, play time area, exercise yards, and specialized training of staff makes THE LODGE the place to bring your pet for all your boarding and grooming needs.
